While I spend most of my days in the studio, I also enjoy teaching arts and craft workshops to little artists!
It's a great way for me to let loose and learn about freely expressing myself--It's like becoming a kid for a couple of hours! I'm also teaching them about using their imagination, how to cope with what they think are "mistakes"--(lots of crumpled paper saved!) and helping their self-esteem/confidence! It's a rewarding and satisfying feeling to see these kids create, and knowing that a couple hours of the week is having such an impact on their mental health.
Currently, I am teaching 2 private workshops, as well as the classes listed below:
CREATIVE EXPRESSIONS: for little artists (Ages 6-12)
--Tuesdays at Artist & Craftsman Supply 34-09 Queens Blvd, Long Island City
--Thursdays at Sunnyside Plays 43-09 48th Ave Sunnyside sunnysideplays.com
CRAFTS FOR TOTS | PAINTING FOR TOTS: for kids under 3 with guardian
at Sunnyside Plays 43-09 48th Ave Sunnyside-visit sunnysideplays.com for schedule
If you are interested in the public workshops, you can email me at email@example.com, with the class name/location in the subject, and I'd be happy to answer your questions. Walk-ins are OK, but seat reservations are preferred, so that I can be sure that I prep enough materials, and the class isn't full!
If you have a group of kids and a space (minimum 4 kids), and you'd like a private class, you can reach out to me at firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject: PRIVATE WORKSHOP, and I'd be happy to work with you, as long as my schedule allows it!
