With NSS 2015 coming up in two weeks, (gasp!) life has been a crazy ride for me and the ones I love lately. The creative process is a fun ride but can be full of mood swings, as Paul Arden has perfectly described above. I've gone through stages of being lost-puppy scared to questioning-my-life fearful to beyonce-confident, sometimes hitting all of the stages in a day!
So this is my apology to the universe, (and to my loved ones who've been in the direct path of hurricane Tasha). I truly am grateful and lucky to be gifted with the creativity bug. Although it sucks playing defense for my dreams at times (think Spartan-like defense), I am fortunate enough to have the opportunity to follow these dreams.
This debut into the stationery world is just the beginning of a wonderful adventure and I can't wait to see what paths it opens up for me, so that I can start skipping along one (or more!) of them.
More than anything, I'm happy to say that I can bring a smile to your faces with my doodles. The idea of bright & blue designs was originally created to remember the little things in life, to remember to smile and laugh and shine positive thoughts into the world because kindness is the best religion. So that is what I will continue to do. I'll doodle happiness so that whatever that happiness may be in your life, you have the courage to make it come true.
With that I leave you with another dose of happiness:
